Our Mission Statement

A Little About Us
The Grant Community School Collaborative is a seven member non-profit dedicated to serving the youth and families of Duluth's inner-city East Hillside neighborhood. We apply the principles of a "Community School" model to program design: intentional partnerships and mobilization of key organizations and individuals, clear outcomes and high expectations, embracing diversity, building upon the strengths of our community, and creating a school that addresses the neighborhood's unique needs and assets.

Our Goals for 2009-2010
*To help increase School Attendance
*To help increase Academic Success
*To help increase Family Involvement
*Develop Cultural Appreciation
*Provide opportunities for youth to expand their intellectual, creative and social skills
